I am always on the hunt for new beauty products, so about a month ago I purchased a few new items to add to my collection. Here are the products that stood out the most and I would definitely recommend giving a try.
Herbivore – Moon Fruit Superfruit Night Treatment: If you tell me something is an overnight treatment I will probably buy it without further questions because I love products that work wonders while I sleep. I tried a sample of this for a week and became hooked. I bought a full size when Sephora was having a sale because I loved it so much. Also, I love Herbivore. Their products are natural and cruelty free. I would definitely recommend checking out their website. Anything that is natural and actually works is a keeper in my book.
Sunday Riley – Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner: I don’t think I could ever live without toner. I use it every time after I wash my face and it makes me feel as though I have removed everything from my skin. When I saw this was a “melting” gel toner, I thought, “there is no way I will like that”, then I thought, “I need it now”. After using it for almost a month, I am hooked. It feels cool on the skin and has helped balance out my complexion. I always struggle with an oily t-zone and a dry skin around my mouth and chin. I have noticed a huge difference with this product and will definitely repurchase when I run out.
**If you want to feel really fancy use these Shiseido Facial Cotton squares with it.**
Ren – Flash Hydro-Boost Instant Plumping Emulsion: I have huge wrinkles on my forehead. I have always had them. I remember the first time I really noticed them was in high school (which is like the worst age to realize you have wrinkles already). I have tried so many products that claim to reduce wrinkles and nothing works. This product plumps the skin and seriously reduces the appearance of my forehead wrinkles. Just be sure to activate it with water and let it dry before you put on your make up. I learned the hard way.
Glossier – Priming Moisturizer: Really the best compliment I can give this moisturizer is that it works and isn’t overpowering. It is lightweight and doesn’t leave my skin greasy. I am always hesitant to put on moisturizer in the morning because I feel like it just sits there all day and my make up slides around. This gives my skin moisture without the residue. It is the perfect duo of moisturizer and primer in one.
IGK Rich Kid Coconut Oil Gel: If there is one product on this list that changed my life and everyone needs to try, it is this product. I am always running late in the morning and, before discovering this product, that would mean tossing my wet hair up and running out the door. With this product, I can actually leave my hair down wet and it will dry with a perfect model undone look. I gave it to one of my good friends for her birthday, because when I find a good beauty product I have to share, and she is equally obsessed.
Amika – Perk Up Dry Shampoo: This smells amazing. I have yet to find a dry shampoo that is life changing, but this stuff does its job and smells great doing it. I am always up for trying new dry shampoo, so if you have recommendations send them my way.
Mason Pearson Detangler Brush: Why would anyone buy an expensive brush? I don’t know, but I did and have never been happier. For the past few months (thanks to bleach and dye), my hair has been really hard to brush and detangle (and yes I take care of my hair with products, too). I had finally had it one day when I just kept ripping hair out with my comb and searched for help. This brush had great reviews and so many moms said it made brushing their kid’s hair easier. So I figured if it made brushing hair easier for kids, it should make it easier for me. Finally, no more pain, no more pulling, no more ripping out hair. I actually love brushing my hair now, and writing this makes me want to go brush it again….
Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Deodorant: I hate deodorant. I forget to put it on almost everyday. Actually, I usually look at it and then walk away because I find it such a hassle. I’m always afraid I will get it on my clothes if I put it on before I get dressed and then once I am dressed I am afraid I will accidently rub it on my clothes when I put it on. Anyone else have this dilemma? So when I saw this deodorant trending, I thought maybe I should give it a try. I am shocked at how much I like this stuff. I never forget and actually like putting it on. It really works and smells great. I almost wish I didn’t love it so I wouldn’t be tempted to spend more on it then drugstore brands. But hands down, worth it.
